Account & Security
Your account settings cover your personal profile, password, and linked OAuth providers. These settings are per-user and don't affect other members of your workspace.
Profile
Go to Account to update:
- Name — your display name across the workspace
- Avatar — upload a profile photo
Your email address is shown on this page but can't be changed here. Contact your workspace owner if you need to update the email on your account.
Security
Go to Account → Security to manage authentication settings.
Changing your password
- Enter your current password
- Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Confirm the new password
- Click Update password
If you signed up with OAuth and don't have a password set, this section will prompt you to set one before you can change it.
Linked OAuth providers
You can link your Google or GitHub account to your Abstractions account. Once linked, you can sign in with either provider in addition to your email and password.
To link a provider:
- Go to Account → Security
- Click Link Google or Link GitHub
- Authorise the OAuth flow
To unlink a provider, click Unlink next to the connected provider.
You need to have either a password or at least one other provider linked before you can unlink an OAuth provider. You cannot be locked out of your account this way.
Advanced settings
Go to Account → Advanced to access account-level danger zone actions, including permanently deleting your account.
Deleting your account removes your personal data but does not delete the workspace or its data. If you're the workspace owner, transfer ownership before deleting your account.
